My Music

I grew up in a very musical family. Both of my parents play instruments. My mother plays bass guitar, and my father plays drums, however he won't admit that he does any longer. My sister plays piano and I play drums and bass. My wife plays piano, and sings, and my son plays drums as well. We all sing and sang in choir in school and later on in life. One of my biggest passions is playing live music in a band. I consider this one of my the hobbies that I enjoy the most. I've been playing in bands since I was a senior in high-school many years ago. My first band was a country band that played in small venues in the area where I grew up and currently live.

One of the stories I like to tell is how I met my wife. You guessed it, in a band. I was actually auditioning for a spot in a country band back in the mid-90's and she was singing and playing keyboards in this band. We were married just a year or so later. The rest is history. My wife and I currently play in a Rock band together and have been fortunate enough to enjoy something that we both love to do. I don't consider that a hobby, I consider that a priveledge. We have been been blessed with having the opportunity to be around and play music with some of (whom we feel) the most talented musicians around our area. We have grown to call them family.
